About Ian
Ian started at Bear’s Best Atlanta as a forecaddie in 2002, moving on to become PGA Head Golf Professional, working at the club until 2008. Ian has also been PGA Director of Golf at the River Creek Club, Leesburg VA and the Head of Golf for Edinburgh Leisure in Scotland, managing six City courses. With a career background outside of golf in Business Development and Marketing, Ian was delighted to return to Bear’s Best Atlanta as General Manager in June 2018.
Jenni Tyler

About Jenni
Jenni moved from Indianapolis, Indiana in 2010 and started work as a Beverage Cart Attendant at Laurel Springs Golf Club in 2014. In 2018, Jenni’s role as food and beverage assistant transitioned into supporting Private Events and Golf Tournaments. In April 2021, she was promoted in to the position of Private Event and Tournament Sales Director at Bear's Best Atlanta. Jenni has two wonderful children.
James Morra

About James
Born and raised in Brewster, New York, James Morra, the youngest of three has always been enthralled with all things “sports." James graduated from Brewster High in 1994 where he lettered and excelled in football, skiing, lacrosse, tennis and wrestling.James followed his family to Georgia in September of 1995 where he attended the University Of North Georgia and paid his way through school by working as a cart attendant at Legacy on Lanier. He worked his way up to Assistant Golf Professional and later worked his way through the PGA Management Program to become a Class A Professional.James has experience working at several prestigious courses in the area including River Club, St. Ives, Chateau Elan (where he was fortunate enough to meet his wife Sarah) and most recently as Head Golf Professional at Reunion Country Club.James brings a high-energy drive to deliver exceptional customer service for Bear’s Best Atlanta and truly enjoys growing the game of golf; he looks forward to bringin...
Justin Kelly

About Justin
In, 2021, Justin Kelly was excited to bring his talents back to Bear’s Best Atlanta as the Head Chef having previously served as line cook at the club in 2017. Justin’s passion for cooking started as a child and he loves how food brings people together. He has over seven years of professional experience. His favorite part of cooking is watching people smile and enjoy something he was a part of creating. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his wife and two boys, watching the Ravens play to victory, and relaxing at home.
Mitch Guth
Food & Beverage Director

About Mitch
Mitch Guth was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin but move with his family to Lawrenceville, Georgia at the age of 2. Mitch's father served as the assistant golf professional at Chateau Elan at the time. With clubs his father had made himself, Mitch started to accompany him on the course and establish his love of golf. While in high school, Mitch found another love, guitar, and began playing in bands and studio sessions in Atlanta. Mitch’s introduction to Bear's Best was as musical entertainment for the club's weekly diners. In spring of 2015 he asked if the club was hiring for the upcoming spring season and started as a server. With a childhood dream of being a chef, he felt right at home in the Food and Beverage department and progressed to the position he now holds as Food and Beverage Director.
Robert O'Campo
Golf Course Superintendent

About Robert
Growing up, Superintendent Robert O’Campo’s family followed his father’s engineering career from Texas to Illinois, then Georgia to North Carolina and international stops in South Africa and Thailand.
Robert’s career in golf started at the city-owned Bradford Creek Golf Course in Greenville, and while there he earned a degree in turfgrass management technology. He progressed to a position as second assistant at the Country Club of Gwinnett. And when the superintendent at Gwinnett left for Bear’s Best, O’Campo went with him. Within a few years, he was elevated to first assistant superintendent and by 2018 had more than earned his opportunity to become the club’s Superintendent. Since moving in to the Head position, Bear’s Best Atlanta has moved into Golfweek magazine’s “Top10 Courses You Can Play” in the state.

About Dacia
Dacia started her career in the golf industry in 1993 as a receptionist at Country Club of the South. She served in various roles including Service Director and Membership Sales. In 2016, she joined the Bear’s Best Food and Beverage team and is now thrilled to have her new role of Office Manager.
