About Eddy
Eddy Young is a native of Atlanta. Raised in the Cascade Heights area just north of Canongate 1. Eddy attended Southwest Atlanta High school and graduated from Georgia Southern with a degree in Criminal Justice. His first job in the golf industry was in the DeKalb County public course system first serving at Sugar Creek Golf Course and then at Mystery Valley. The first head professional job was at Riverside Golf and Country club in Macon, Georgia. After leaving Macon to return home he was the Head Professional at Hidden Hills Country club in Stone Mountain. Eddy became the golf professional at Canongate 1 in 2006 where he proudly serves our members.

About Sean
Sean Renaud is originally from Cocoa Beach, Florida. With both his grandfather and father being PGA Golf Professionals, Sean had an early start in this profession. Sean got accepted into the Professional Golf Management College at Mississippi State University. In 1997, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Degree with a major in Marketing. Sean currently is the Head Golf Professional at White Oak. His hobbies include golfing, poker and grilling out with friends. His favorite college to root for is Mississippi State and he is a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Sherry Dircks is an Inspired Coach who empowers her students to achieve their dreams and goals on and off the golf course. She is an LPGA Class A Professional with over 25 years of experience coaching diverse individuals from ages 2 - 92. Through a student-centered approach and using player development programs she helps her students achieve their desired results. As a student of the game, she has studied with Vision 54, RGX Results‐Based Golf Group Coaching, and The Scoring Method which is a comprehensive golf improvement system that uses a student’s own scores to determine how they can play better and have more fun.

About Brandon
Brandon is originally from Mobile, AL. Brandon has been playing golf since the age of six, and has built an impressive resume as both an amateur and professional golfer. As a junior golfer, he was a full-time student at the IMG/David Ledbetter Golf Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He played his collegiate golf at the University of North Alabama. As a professional, he has twice represented Georgia as a member of the Georgia PGA Assistants Cup team and was the 2012 Georgia PGA Assistants Champion. A talented club-fitter with ten years of experience to his credit, Brandon has a wealth of knowledge about the scientific aspects of ball flight and how to make a club perform its best for each player. He is a Certified Flightscope professional, trained in the use of radar-based launch monitors. He is also certified by Eyeline Golf as a 4PE putting instructor, US Kids Golf, the Positive Coaching Alliance and is a member of the 4D Motion Sports advisory panel.

About Johnny
Johnny grew up in Senoia, GA and graduated from The Heritage School in Newnan. After working a summer job at White Oak Golf Club in 1993 he started classes at Gwinnett College in Golf Course Management. Following graduation, Johnny was hired as an Assistant Superintendent at White Water Creek for two years and then returned to White Oak as an Assistant to hone skills needed to become a Superintendent. Jeff Burton hired Johnny 3 years later to be the Head Superintendent at Heron Bay Golf Club in Locust Grove, GA in 2004. After 4 years at Heron Bay, Johnny moved to Sun City Peachtree in Griffin, GA and hardly had time to unpack when the job at Canongate 1 was available in October of 2009. Wanting to return to the area and work at a 36-hole golf course he returned and has made Canongate his home. Since accepting the position Johnny has married and his boys, Connor and Jack enjoy coming to work with Daddy and riding some of the equipment around the golf course and visiting with the staff.

About Steve
Steve Morgan has worked at White Oak Golf Course for the past 12 years. He was the first assistant for four years and has held the Head Golf Course Superintendent position for the past eight years. Before moving to the Atlanta area in 2006, he was employed at Seven Oaks Country Club in Bakersfield California as the first assistant Golf Course Superintendent for six years.
After graduating from Bakersfield JC in 1994 with a degree in Economics, he attended Rutgers Professional Turfgrass Management Program and graduated in 1996. Before getting his first assistants job, he worked at a few different golf courses as a spray technician and crew foreman.
Steve is married with three children of ages 13, 15, and 16. His hobbies include working out, landscaping and enjoying all sporting events.
