About Jim

Jim graduated with a B.S. in business from Ferris State University, in Big Rapids, Michigan. He served as the head golf professional at Grand Traverse Resort, in Traverse City, Michigan from 1990 to 1993.In 1993 Jim became the head golf professional at West Shore Golf and Country Club in Michigan.  There he served the membership for 14 years. In November 2006 he accepted the position of General Manager at Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club. Jim also held the GM positions at Prestwick Country Club in Chicago and Golden Valley Country Club in Golden Valley.He currently resides in Plymouth with his wife Lori and three boys.

About Matt

Matt Renner is originally from West Bend, Wisconsin. After graduating from The Golf Academy of America, in 2007, he went back to Wisconsin to work at Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits. A few years later he relocated to Peachtree City, GA to work at Flat Creek Country Club and Planterra Ridge Golf Club as an Assistant Golf Professional.In the spring of 2014 he transitioned into a Membership Director role at The Clubs of Peachtree City. He would later move on to White Oak and Canongate I Golf Clubs. He also spent eight months at Bermuda Run Country Club in North Carolina before returning to White Oak and Canongate I. His hobbies include attending concerts, watching sports and traveling to play golf.

About Stephanie

Stephanie comes to us from Downtown Resource Group where she has been responsible for planning, promoting, organizing, and executing a variety of fun events for the company’s clients. Stephanie has experience in the private club and golf business having spent time working at Hazeltine and Bemidji T&CC. Stephanie is excited to bring her passion for event planning here to Medina to lead the team’s efforts to continuously enhance the member experience. Stephanie will be focusing on developing an exciting year-round calendar of programs to help you stay connected to your club all year long.When Stephanie's not working, you can find her cruising the lakes in her families boat, gardening, renovating her house, cooking, and any kind of outdoor activity she can make time for.

About Carol

Carol grew up in South Dakota. She attended Northern State   University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She later graduated from Metropolitan University in Minneapolis with a BA in Marketing and Business. Carol spent her career at US West and later retired from Century Link Communications. She joined the Medina team in 2011. Most days, you can find Carol at the front desk   assisting members and co-workers with everything under the sun. Carol resides in Maple Grove, Minnesota. She is a proud grandmother of five grandsons and loves spending her time with family and friends.

About Scott

Scott has been a Tennis Director at Medina for 18 years. He has 43 years of Tennis teaching experience. Scott is a USPTA Professional 1 and has played for the University of Minnesota and North Dakota State University. Scott has a wife Rose and two children, Luke and Sophie.

About Peter

Chef Peter comes to Medina from Tamarisk Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California, where he served as the Executive Chef over the club’s culinary operations since 1995. Prior to joining the Tamarisk team, Chef Peter served as Executive Chef for Hilton Hotels after spending three years as Executive Chef at Old Baldy Country Club in Saratoga, WY. Peter also served for three years as Chef for the California Speedway in charge of infield operations. Chef Peter completed his culinary education in Germany in 1980. Chef Peter is excited for the opportunity to share his experience with the Medina culinary team, and to lead the team in its efforts to provide exceptional dining experiences for the Club’s members and guests.

About Kevin

Kevin comes to us from Austin Country Club where he has served as the Golf Course Superintendent for the last four seasons. Prior to Austin CC, Kevin was the Golf Course Superintendent for two seasons at the Jack Nicklaus designed, Summit Course, at The Club at Cordillera, in Edwards, Colorado. Kevin spent the earlier part of his career as the Assistant Superintendent at Bearpath and at the Tournament Players Club at Scottsdale, on the Stadium Course. Kevin looks forward to bringing his knowledge, principles, ideas, practices, and Border Collie named Bunker to Medina’s golf course, the grounds, and to the team.

About Colin

Colin comes to us from Midland Hills Country Club, where he has served as the F&B Director for the last 2 years. Colin’s extensive experience in F&B began in 1995 as a Lead Cook right here at Medina back when we were known as Rolling Green Country Club. His experience also includes 5 years at Golden Valley Country Club as the F&B Director, and 15 years at Lafayette Club as F&B Manager.
