Enjoy Tennis at Any Time of Year
Members at River Creek Club enjoy the use of four floodlit hard tennis courts which allow them to play on a warm summer’s evening or a mild winter’s day. Tennis activities are arranged and coordinated under the guidance of the Director of Tennis. Tennis Leesburg, VA events range from tournaments and inter-club matches for the ardent player to mixers and socials for the more casual player. There are popular programs for juniors running from April to November, and adult beginners are welcome to learn the sport as well at this Leesburg tennis club.
RCTA
Established in 2002, the River Creek Tennis Association promotes the interests of its Members by planning tennis-related events and ensures that the suggestions and concerns of its Members are communicated to River Creek Club Management. The RCTA is committed to increasing participation in the tennis program by providing a varied range of activities for all levels of players. The RCTA plans events each year including monthly tennis socials, member-guest tournaments, and winter indoor events, along with a kickoff party and end-of-season bash.

About Matt
Matt grew up in Winchester where he started playing tennis with his brother at the age of 6. He moved to Leesburg, Va after graduating from the University of Richmond, where he was a four-year starter in both singles and doubles tennis.Matt began his coaching career at Ida Lee Tennis Center in 2010, but most recently was the Head Professional at the Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion. There he helped coach multiple ladies USTA League teams to the national championships, and also found a passion for developing talent with junior players. He believes in a simple philosophy that can be applied to players of all ages and skill levels; Hard Work + Good Routines = SUCCESS!Matt has been a part of two national championship USTA teams (10.0 mixed in 2017, and 9.0 mixed in 2018) and enjoys competing while expanding his skills and knowledge of the game tennis.
