Set along the shores of the beautiful Lake Conroe and winding its way through the community, the golf course at April Sound Country Club provides Members with a challenging, visually attractive and enjoyable golf experience, offering 27 championship holes of golf, world-class practice facilities including an aquatic driving range, plus an active schedule of leagues, tournaments and lessons.

27 holes of championship golf comprise the golf experience at April Sound, including our two beautiful 9-hole courses, the White Nine and the Blue Nine, as well as the 9-hole executive course where we host weekly Member tournaments.

Lessons
April Sound Country Club is proud to offer its own Golf Academy featuring outstanding Class A PGA instructors. The Golf Academy caters to each individual student with instructors available for private instruction, group outings, clinics, video analysis and on-course instruction.
Crush It! Junior Golf
The ‘Crush It’ junior program is a game changing golf development program designed to help your child to develop a deep love for the game. The program will provide your child with the tools to engage proactively in life at your club and learn valuable lessons they can use in all areas their lives. At the core of the ‘Crush It’ program is our mission to develop golfers for life. The ‘Crush It’ junior program embodies skills for golf, skills for life.

Clinics
Saturday clinics are offered covering topics like putting, chipping, pitching, pre-swing, mid-irons, driver and woods, and full swing principles.

Fittings
Our staff is experienced in club fitting and repairs. We can handle special orders quickly.

Leagues
For information on any of these groups or to find out how to join one or more of these fun associations, please stop in or call the pro shop.

Couples’ Program
Year-round couples’ golf programs are held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, followed by dinner specials.

Women’s Program
There are two women’s groups that meet on a regular basis at April Sound Country Club: the Niners (ASNGA) and the April Sound Women’s Golf Association (ASWGA). The Niners, the nine-hole ladies’ group hit the course every Thursday morning on our Red Nine executive course. ASWGA play Thursday mornings with at least one monthly tournament. The ASWGA big Member-Guest tournament, the Rhinestone Cup, takes place in the beginning of April.

Men’s Program
The April Sound Country Club Men’s Golf Association (MGA) is extremely active with at least one major tournament a month during the season. In addition to the monthly tournaments, April Sound Country Club has numerous other events that should not be missed.

Beginners’ Programs
April Sound Country Club offers a Beginners’ Program on Saturday Mornings, featuring four sessions a month on basic skill development in preparation for play. The Beginners Program at April Sound Golf Academy is open to all new golfers, men and women, regardless of age.

Tournaments
Your leagues provide some of the most exciting golf tournaments around. Here, you’ll play challenging rounds, meet fellow Members and, with any luck, win some great prizes.

At the heart of our Club, golf is the storied pastime that brings families, friends and colleagues together in a way few other sports can. With our Crush It! program for junior golfers, it’s fun and simple for kids and teens to learn new skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the sportsmanship and camaraderie that golfers of all ages share.

Our engaging Crush It! program introduces junior golfers to essential skills they’ll use for a lifetime — both on and off the course. We’ll go beyond golfing basics like stance and swing to help young golfers develop key character traits like confidence, respect and self-discipline. From age-appropriate instruction for our youngest golfers to competitive development for teens, Crush It! is shaping the next generation of golfers.
