About Crombie
Crombie Hatfield was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in South Africa. After graduating high school he spent two years in the Army. At age 20, Crombie left for Europe where he spent almost two years teaching tennis in Austria.While playing tournaments in Europe, he was recruited by UNLV and received a full tennis scholarship. After college, he returned to South Africa where he successfully managed his own tennis school for over 10 years.Crombie returned to the United States and became the Head Tennis Pro at Red Rock Country Club and at The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego. In 2012, Crombie accepted the Director of Tennis at Canyon Gate.Crombie, his wife Cally and their two daughters, Kate and Mia all play and enjoy tennis.
Adrin Hemelhebber

About Adrin
Adrin Himmelheber was born and raised in Las Vegas and was a top junior along with being a class 4A State Singles champion for The Meadows School. He played for UNLV and had a brief run on the pro tour after being sidelined with ACL knee surgery.
Adrin has worked with club-level adults to national junior champions. He works part-time with tour players and has worked with Grand Slam champions and Olympic Golf medalists including Andre Agassi and Nicholas Massu. Adrin is a USTA certified high-performance coach and a USPTA Professional 1 which is the highest certification in the tennis coaching professional industry.

About Nick
Nick just recently moved to Las Vegas from Austin, TX. He is excited to continue teaching tennis here at Canyon Gate, he’s been teaching for over 30 years.
Mercedes Lopez

About Mercedes
Mercedes has always been involved in tennis. From the ages of 12 – 18, Mercedes was in the top 5 for juniors in Spain. She went on to play for UNLV from 2014- 2018 and won the Mountain West Conference Championship. After completing college, she was the assistant coach for women’s and men’s tennis at Shepherd University in Virginia. She will be continuing her career here at Canyon Gate becoming the Tennis Professional.
