At the heart of our Club, golf is the storied pastime that brings families, friends and colleagues together in a way few other sports can. With our Crush It! program for junior golfers, it’s fun and simple for kids and teens to learn new skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the sportsmanship and camaraderie that golfers of all ages share.

Our engaging Crush It! program introduces junior golfers to essential skills they’ll use for a lifetime — both on and off the course. We’ll go beyond golfing basics like stance and swing to help young golfers develop key character traits like confidence, respect and self-discipline. From age-appropriate instruction for our youngest golfers to competitive development for teens, Crush It! is shaping the next generation of golfers.

Eric Williams, PGA

Eric began his golf industry career at Ocean City Club as a PGA Assistant Golf Professional and has also worked at Wilmington Country Club. He is a certified club fitter and in 2017 was inducted into the Callaway Golf Staff Hall of Fame. Eric brings a strong passion for the game of golf that he has had since a very young age, when he learned the game from local pros near his hometown of Ocean City, MD.

The Hartefeld National Philosophy of Instruction

Our approach to golf instruction is to help you “see” the club and ball interaction so that you can actually influence it. We help you develop your way of playing your best, not just show you our way and force you to conform to it. You’ll find out that golf really can be fun! Over the past 22 years, our Director of Instruction has developed a unique approach to teaching and learning golf that is based on finding each individual student’s best way of playing the game.
