In 1958, Weymouth Kirkland, Forest Wallace and Dudley F. Jessop together with a group of influential Chicago civic and business leaders envisioned creating a private club with an intimate atmosphere and international prestige. Today, this tradition on which the Mid-America Club was founded remains strong.

Civic Engagement and Philanthropy

Just as your Club serves you, we also serve our community. Our ongoing work with students to teach basic kitchen and cooking skills remains a Member favorite. We proudly partner with local organizations to best serve the needs of the community – from serving dinner at the Ronald McDonald house to providing maintenance at the Bronzeville Neighborhood Farm - our community is always looking for ways to give back.
