About Karen
Karen Grumbles is a wife and mother of 6 who has worked in and served the Bay Area community in their fitness needs for nearly 30 years.
Her instructing passions include increasing strength, balance, flexibility and endurance for every age demographic. Karen holds certifications in various formats such as Yoga, Spin, Step, HIIT, Kickboxing, Boot camp and Bodypump. Through these formats she has the ability to connect with each participant from the novice to the most experienced and have you coming back for more.
Karen will now be available for personal training sessions or to answer any fitness related questions you may have. You can also find her offering classes in group exercise. Her overall motivation is to partner with you on your fitness journey to help you stay on track and meet your goals.

About Billy
Billy has 28+ years of experience in the fitness industry. Active in sports as a teen, his love of exercise and nutrition only grew stronger as he developed. Now approaching 50, the satisfaction of mentoring others gives him a sense of accomplishment. Having been certified as a personal fitness trainer since 1993, Billy has had the opportunity of working with many dedicated clients ages ranging from eleven to eighth-one. He believes in his clients and and gives them the confidence to believe in themselves. Billy received a bachelors degree in biology from the University of Houston in 1996. He also maintains an active certification in Adult/Child CPR and Basic First Aid. His unspoken motto is- I’ll Greet you with a smile, Lend you a hand and STRENGTHEN YOUR LIFE!

Louis Prunes is a native Texan. He has spent his lifetime being active, staying fit and challenging himself through the years. His hobbies and activities include golf, swimming, diving, martial-arts, competitive racquet ball, jogging with his German Shepherd Dog and overall physical fitness.He trains and has trained males and females of all ages, fitness levels and body shapes. Ginger has a B.S. in Biomedical Science and an M.S. in Fitness and Human Performance. She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and also holds certifications from AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America), Mad Dogg Athletics Spinning®, TRX® suspension training, certified RYT-200 Yoga Instructor, water fitness, and more. Ginger, an athlete in high school and college, has an avid interest in the great outdoors, which includes outdoor cycling, snow skiing, hiking, backpacking/camping and bird watching. She has even gone scuba diving in a cave with sharks! She likes to keep her workouts fun, varied and challenging with upbeat music. She stays current in the latest evidence-based studies on health/fitness and shares pertinent information with her clients and participants in her classes.

Hello Bay Oaks Family, my is name Alex Torres and I am the newest addition to tennis staff. I began playing tennis at age 7 and quickly fell in love with the sport and how mentally and physically demanding it was. I competed as a junior player and became a national champion for Puerto Rico at the age of 10, and the year prior placed second in the national tournament. I played 4 years of Varsity tennis for Baytown Sterling and Pasadena Memorial. I also played some ITF tournaments for a short amount, but sadly had to stop due to injury.Following graduation, I trained as a coach under the supervision of Carlos Hernandez, who is a program director for Papa Carlos Tennis Academy.
