Swimming Lessons
Mommy and Me (infant – 3 years old)
30 minutes per lesson
Accompanied in the water by an adult, infants and toddlers learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence-building experiences. Parents work with their children to explore body positions, floating, blowing bubbles, and fundamental safety and aquatic skills.
Beginner Level I – Water Exploration
30 minutes per lesson
This class is for beginner swimmers and no previous aquatic instruction is required. Swimmers will learn to feel comfortable in and out of the water, as well as begin developing safe practices and independent water movement.
Level II – Primary Skills
30 minutes per lesson
Children will continue to learn to build confidence with the water and begin true locomotion skills.
Level III – Stroke Readiness
30 minutes per lesson
This class builds from previous lessons. Swimmers learn to work mostly on the backstroke and front crawl (freestyle) with using rotary breathing. Swimmers will start working on the breaststroke.
Level IV – Stroke Development
30 minutes per lesson
Swimmers learn to increase their endurance by swimming backstroke, freestyle and breaststroke for greater distances. Swimmers will also work on the sidestroke, butterfly and basic turns.
Private lessons
30-60 minutes (30 min $30 / 60 min $50)
These lessons are catered to the individual needs of each student and are available May through October. The one on one attention allows the student to make fast progress through all skills objectives. It also allows for the freedom to choose a day and time that is good for the student and the coach. We can work with getting infants use to the water up to adults who wants to learn to swim or work on fine tuning their skills.
