About Diego
I am thrilled to be part of this amazing Bay Oaks family! I started playing tennis when I was 12 years old, and was lucky enough to be coached by Alfredo Claro and Yohny Romero, who played in the ATP Tour, and Davis Cup for Venezuela. As a junior player, I held a ranking of # 8 nationally. Throughout my junior years I received numerous scholarship offers but decided to stay in my hometown of Caracas, Venezuela and became the Captain of the NCAA Universidad Metropolitana Tennis Team. After earning my B.S. in Computer Engineering, I opened my own tennis academy, Asoclara. With only two courts, I successfully organized and coached 50+ kids and 20 adults. I moved to Houston in 2014, where I completed my Associates in Business while developing two Junior Zat Players into Super Champs. While in Houston, I became the Junior Co-Director at Westheimer Indoors and taught private lessons at Sienna Plantation in Sugarland, where I taught almost the entire Varsity team for Ridge Point High Schoo...
Lincoln Bedrich
Junior Director
Serving since 2018
About Lincoln
Hello everyone, my name is Lincoln Bedrich and I am very excited to finally be a part of the team here at Bay Oaks Country Club. I began my tennis journey at the age of 12 years old after coming from a very baseball-oriented family. I continued being a dual sport athlete but my love for the game of tennis was unwavering and unmatched. I was a four-year varsity letterman at Deer Park High School where I was able to obtain a great bit of success under the UIL umbrella. I also worked my way up through the junior rankings and know what it takes to rise to the top of the tennis in the great state of Texas. In 2005, I joined the prestigious John Newcombe Tennis Ranch as a tennis pro. I was a part of the work/train program and was able to be trained and teach alongside touring professionals as well as some of the greats in the tennis community like John Newcombe himself. While there I trained top 100 in the nation players some of which are still playing on the tour today. After almost 3 yea...

Brandon Tse
Tennis Professional
Serving since 2019
About Brandon
I am beyond thankful to have been given my first professional coaching opportunity here at Bay Oaks. Growing up, I played numerous sports competitively. As I continued to get older, everyone else got big and stronger, I didn't. So I naturally migrated to tennis!I've been playing for about 20 years now and still play competitively in leagues and tournaments in USTA. The teams I have been a part of have made both Sectionals and Nationals the past few years. Every time I step on the court to teach, I observe and learn something new which I use to better myself as a coach. The most satisfying feeling as a coach is seeing enjoyment combined with improvement. It makes the game more fun for everyone. I look forward to seeing everyone out on the courts!
Jessica Ferguson
Tennis Professional
Serving since 2019
About Jessica
In 2005 I moved to Bradenton, Florida where I began training at IMG Academy. I was coached some by Nick Bollettieri and began playing ITF tournaments to build my WTA ranking. I would do this for 7 months and have an international ranking of top 550 before enduring a career ending injury.
This chapter would end but my next would surely not disappoint. As a coach I find great pride working first hand in player development. The magnitude of the sports industry requires a multitude of dexterity and I have spent my life learning this from the inside—out. I have worked at FM Tennis Academy and Downtown Club at The Met and now at Bay Oaks CC. On or off the court, the world of sports is fiercely competitive. Behind every successful athlete there is a scrupulous team of support. To impel victory within the industry it takes an entire network; from community and global relations to personal management and coaching. Look forward to working with you all at Bay Oaks!

Elizabeth Mondy
Tennis Shop Supervisor
Serving since 2020
About Elizabeth
I started working at Bay Oaks in late 2017 in the kid’s club. I was asked if I could fill in some open spots in the tennis shop soon after and said yes. A couple of months later that’s when Diego was hired on as our director, soon after that he asked me if I was willing to take on more responsibilities and work more hours and I was convinced that I was up for the challenge to keep growing at the club. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working at Bay Oaks, getting to know our members and our tennis community.
